SEEK - Save Endangered Endemic and Key Species - is an overland expedition initiated and organised by Environment Conservation Group (ECG) to study the life and conservation issues  of endangered species. The expedition seeks to study and spread awareness on the importance of wildlife and the need to save them and their natural habitats. SEEK has been successful in spreading awareness about roadkills through their expedition PATH  (Provide Animals safe Transit on Highways) we were able to meet the then union minister of Environment and Forests Mr. Prakash Javedkar and stress the importance of elevated roads in forest areas. SEEK expedition has traveled across all the 29  states of India, traveling from the beaches of South India to the highest motorable road in the world, from the forests of Arunachal Pradesh to the deserts of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

ECG is known for spreading awareness, through SEEK we are able to inspire empathy and action from citizens of all ages and policy-makers, the SEEK team has visited various school, colleges and universities during the epic expedition. Some of the institutions are IIT Guwahati, Jammu University, Calicut University, Tripura University, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Thribhuvan University ( Kathmandu, Nepal), Golden Gate college  Nepal, Wild Team Dhaka, Bangladesh, Inspiria Knowledge campus - Siliguri, Nanda College - Erode, American College - Madurai,  National Matriculation Higher secondary school, Ramanad, Metro Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Mettupalayam, Maharishi Gurukulam, Visakapatnam. During the first two SEEK expeditions we have traveled more than 40,000 kms in 100 days.

SEEK2019 - The Flag Off

SEEK2019 SEEK2019 - The Great Indian Bird Expedition was flagged off from Tamil Nadu Forest Academy (TNFA), Coimbatore by Thiru Yogesh Diwvedi IFS, Director - TNFA on 12th Januray  2019. The team of four traveled across India to document some of the rare and elusive birds of India. This epic journey was made possible thanks to the support of Zeiss, Coimbatore City Round Table 31, N Mahalingam & Co.,WULFPRO, MapmyIndia, Twin Birds, Pricol and Sulochana Mills. The 79 days expedition by car, travelled more than 22,000Kms across India through the deserts of the west to the swamps of the east, the beaches of the south to the mighty Himalayan ranges in the north and spotted many rare and elusive birds.
