Satyamangalam Wildlife Census 2011

The Annual Wildlife Census and Tiger Monitoring programme will be
conducted in Sathyamangalam Forest Division between 24th and 29th March
2011. The Annual Wildlife Census will be carried out for three days
from 24th March to 26th March and the Tiger Monitoring programme three
days from 27th to 29th March.
The census orientation training will be held on 24th March at 9 AM at
Bannari Forest Nursery Hall

SEEK2019 SEEK2019 - The Great Indian Bird Expedition was flagged off from Tamil Nadu Forest Academy (TNFA), Coimbatore by Thiru Yogesh Diwvedi IFS, Director - TNFA on 12th Januray  2019. The team of four traveled across India to document some of the rare and elusive birds of India. This epic journey was made possible thanks to the support of Zeiss, Coimbatore City Round Table 31, N Mahalingam & Co.,WULFPRO, MapmyIndia, Twin Birds, Pricol and Sulochana Mills. The 79 days expedition by car, travelled more than 22,000Kms across India through the deserts of the west to the swamps of the east, the beaches of the south to the mighty Himalayan ranges in the north and spotted many rare and elusive birds.
