Tree cut for better visibility of IDBI Bank

A big green tree has been axed just to make visibility of the IDBI bank, Trichy road better. The more than 10 year old  tree, which provided good green cover and shade was cut down by the Highways Department. Compaints have been raised and the matter is looked into.

SEEK2019 SEEK2019 - The Great Indian Bird Expedition was flagged off from Tamil Nadu Forest Academy (TNFA), Coimbatore by Thiru Yogesh Diwvedi IFS, Director - TNFA on 12th Januray  2019. The team of four traveled across India to document some of the rare and elusive birds of India. This epic journey was made possible thanks to the support of Zeiss, Coimbatore City Round Table 31, N Mahalingam & Co.,WULFPRO, MapmyIndia, Twin Birds, Pricol and Sulochana Mills. The 79 days expedition by car, travelled more than 22,000Kms across India through the deserts of the west to the swamps of the east, the beaches of the south to the mighty Himalayan ranges in the north and spotted many rare and elusive birds. SEEK - Save Endangered Endemic and Key Species - an epic journey traveling 60 days across India to study the endangered animals of India. This expedition led by R.
